Patricia de Lille's successor will have to be a champion of spatial transformation, says city development practitioner Jodi Allemeier.

Allemeier recently wrote an opinion piece on what she'll be looking for in the next Mayor of Cape Town.

Allemeier discusses her expectations for the next mayor, including complexity and the need to mobilise leadership.
