Cele: All spheres of government must work together to fight crime

Following the release of the crime stats, the Justice cluster is holding a summit on Crime and Violence Prevention in Boksburg.

The stats revealed increasing levels of violent crimes.

Eyewitness News senior reporter Barry Bateman says justice sector is looking at how to implement the white paper on safety and security.

The message from the minister is that there needs to be greater cooperation between various spheres of government.
