A senior parliamentary official has allegedly took his own life on Friday morning.
Parliament’s presiding officer expressed their shock and sadness at the news of the passing of the official.
In a statement, Parliament says it will be visiting the family to pay their respects.

The SACP says it is a labour matter and parliament should have done better to sort the matter out. There were warnings and red flags that this person was suicidal and nothing was done.— Babalo Ndenze, EWN Reporter
