Head of the pollution & climate change at CER Robyn Hugo explains why they are against plans for two new coal stations.

The recently published draft IRP consists of new coal-based electricity.

The power will come from two coal IPPs that will be in Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

However, Life After Coal Campaign contends that these power stations will never be built.

These two new power stations are completely unnecessary.
