'Bafana Bafana game against the Seychelles will not be broadcast on SABC'

The South African Football Association (Safa) on Thursday released a statement claiming that no future games featuring Bafana Bafana, Banyana Banyana or another age group related South African teams would be shown on channels of the public broadcaster.

But the SABC has quickly disputed Safa's statement saying it has done all the necessary things needed to deal with the issues Safa has raised.

Safa Acting CEO Russel Paul says the Bafana Bafana game will be broadcast on Supersport as they have the satellite license in terms of their agreement with CAF.

As far as the terrestrial rights which we own, we have not given those to anybody, so therefore the game tomorrow against Seychelles at FNB stadium will not be broadcast on SABC.
