President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed an advisory board to guide him in appointing the next National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP).

The closing date for applications and nominations is November 2.

It's important that this position is seen to be independent and untainted.

The panel will be chaired by Energy Minister Jeff Radebe and panellists include Auditor-General Thembekile Kimi Makwetu; and Chairperson of the SA Human Rights Commission Advocate Bongani Majola.
