The association's Liesel Coetzer says the idea was inspired by Economic Opportunities MEC Alan Winde.
Coetzer says there has been a great response to the new crossings, which will hopefully also create more driver awareness that there are penguins roaming in the town.
We've had such a positive response and it's just lifted our spirits.
