Are you aware of your inner voice—the one that provides a running monologue throughout the day and even into the night? Self talk allows you to believe in yourself. What self talk offers is a way to create self belief. Every time everything that is good happens, something you are proud of. From eating well, going to the gym and to getting the job you want. If you say it yourself that "Well done" internally, this registers in your subconscious and you start believing in yourself.

Going into the first step of changing our inner talk is to be honest. A lot of us have a harsh inner coach, the one that gives us a kick. The harsh inner coach does not go away, but you need to give yourself a nurturing parent.

To allow yourself to be vulnerable takes the greatest strength, only the strong can be vulnerable. When you are able to be soft, you have the great potential to handle the world better because you get a strength that is unshakable.

The way you talk to yourself reflects back on how you talk to other people. If you get the internal work right, you cant not get the external wrong. If you can speak to yourself in a loving and caring way, you will be able to project that externally.
