A dream come true for Blikkiesdorp children as businesses rally behind them

Children in Blikkiesdorp will have a dream fulfilled when they spend a day at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

This is after businesses rallied behind them to sponsor their day by providing transport and refreshments.

Marchelle called CapeTalk asking if there was a way we could share our birthday joy to the kids of Blikkiesdorp, in particular, those who play soccer with Blikkiesdorp United Football Club.

These children have found some form of purpose and an escape from hardships when playing football with Blikkiesdorp United Football Club.

The good news is businesses stepped up and came to the party.

Golden Arrow Bus Services came on board to offer these children transport and Peninsula Beverages will be providing beverages and snacks for the trip.
