Motive behind the killing of prominent gang lawyer Pete Mihalik still unknown
Prominent gang lawyer Pete Mihalik has been shot dead on Tuesday just outside a school where he was dropping off his children in Green Point, Cape Town.
His eight-year-old son was badly injured and he has been rushed to hospital. He is said to be in a stable condition.
The Reddam House School has now been placed on lockdown following the incident.
EWN reporter Kaylynn Palm says forensic investigators are currently at the scene, as well as parents of the children who at the school premises wanting to fetch their children.

Police have confirmed Mihalik's death, however, they have remained tight-lipped about the motive behind his killing, says Palm. They have yet to release any more details.
