Who was Peter Mihalik?

In full view of children at the Reddam Preparatory School in Cape Town, prominent criminal advocate Pete Mihalik was shot and killed on Tuesday morning.

Mihalik's son was injured in the shooting and was rushed into emergency surgery.

Pete Mihalik was a very well know criminal advocate in Cape Town, one of the go-to guys to represent people when it comes to trials. His list consisted of the who's who of the criminal underworld.

Mihalik was dropping his children at the school when a man allegedly approached and shot through the of his car twice.

Despite his hectic personal life of substance abuse and losing his mother, wife and sister - who all committed suicide, Mihalik was very well regarded and respected by his colleagues

Mihalik represented quite a number of people who were notorious, also he was believed to try and help people from both sides of the world, to make sure that he could keep peace, and be a peace maker in Cape Town.
