Police hunt for suspect seen near the Vlakfontein murder house

The Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane was meant to visit the family of seven relatives who were allegedly murdered and whose bodies were discovered on Monday in Vlakfontein, Johannesburg.

Police continue their search for a man in connection with the murder. Four children and three women all from the same family were killed and buried under a heap of sand in a house in the area.

The gate of the house where the horrific murders happen is still padlocked. There is no member of the family present. A heavy smell is coming out of the house as we are standing outside waiting for the MEC.

One of the community members said the man that the police are looking for acted suspiciously before the bodies were discovered. The community member claims that he was sweeping the yard and he had a bucket with him.
