After being a stay-at-home mom and wife for 13 years, Sharon Cole, co-owner of Cole Jewellery, found herself single and in need of an income.
She had always loved being creative and started working on some of the things she put aside for a while.
At 54 she decided to study to be a jewellery maker.
The move paid off and now she's taking the jewellery world by storm.
On Thursday she won Best Stand at the Kamers/Makers Awards.
