Nikki Bush spoke to Phemelo on the Weekend Breakfast on how to cope better with exam stress and some studying tips, as well as fun ways to wake up the brain and keeping it sharp for exams.
Teaching kids how to work with time is very important because they have no idea what time is up until you teach them. Its only by practice from parents and teachers on how to take a whole load of information and downsize it so that its manageable.— Nikki Bush - Parenting Expert
The waiting of exams compared to classwork or projects, especially when it come to grade eleven or matric is extremely disproportionate and that is one of the reasons that bring a lot of anxiety in learners, because everything is judged according to a result of one examination.

Our working memory is very important, we need to hold enough information as much as possible, this means getting rid of all the distractions. Reducing the amount of time you spend on social media during this time is very important. Nikki said parents need to assist their kids when they are stuck. This might include providing them with extra lessons so as to boost their confidence.
