Chairperson of the Public Enterprises Portfolio Committee Zukiswa Rantho reacts to the leaked report on Eskom.

The chairperson of Parliament's Public enterprise Portfolio Committee Zukiswa Rantho says her committee members do not know who leaked the report to the media.

The draft parliamentary report into Eskom, which has been leaked to the media, names 44 people and 25 companies who should be criminally investigated over alleged mismanagement and corruption at the utility.

The current minister of Home Affairs and former public enterprises minister Lynne Brown are reportedly among those named.

We all feel embarrassed and disappointed by the person who leaked this report. We did not want it to be leaked.

Rantho says they met as a committee and asked those who wrote to the report to fix a few issues.

She says despite being the report being leaked, the contents will not be changed.

READ: 'Do the honourable thing if you have any honour left in your bones'

We can't change the contents of the report because to us the committee the report we have is correct. I'm not sure of the one that has gone out.
