Embattled Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba has accused Parliament’s Portfolio Committee of Public Enterprises of joining a "well-orchestrated political campaign" to vilify him.

Gigaba is due to appear before this committee on Tuesday to answer some really tough questions.
Speaking to Bongani Bingwa Chairperson of Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs Hlomani Chauke says he deals with the issue of the Fireblade Aviation and doesn't have anything to do with the leaked report.
I am chairing Home Affairs and we focus on the issues of the Fireblade and the Oppenheimers, these have nothing to do with a plot against him. These are matters that have been before the courts and the court has pronounced for us and his department to make sure that there is compliance with what the court has ordered.

He adds that the committee is guided by the Constitution which the role of Parliament.
