Breakfast Show Host Bongani Bingwa weighs in on a tweet showing a video of a violent video of a group of male students egging one of their counterparts to be abusive towards a female teacher.
Eventually what this boy does is he throws a bottle of water into the face of the teacher and the kids are yelling go for it, go for it.— Bongani Bingwa, Breakfast Show Host
Eventually, the teacher walks out and I have had a number of people react and respond to it on twitter.— Bongani Bingwa, Breakfast Show Host

Yet another incident of #teacherabuse . This time at Kimberley Boys High. C’mon South Africa - surely we are better than this?! Are we having honest enough conversations about parental responsibilities and how we are raising our kids? #702Breakfast pic.twitter.com/GyM7Wxfudd— Bongani Bingwa - Broadcast Journalist (@bonglez) November 6, 2018
Bingwa adds some people said this is part of the anti-black narrative because the teacher is white.
And what I want to say is stop, stop South Africa we are better than this, we are better than breaking everything down simply to black and white. We are better than this kind of abuse.— Bongani Bingwa, Breakfast Show Host
Bingwa says we have to ask ourselves honest questions about our roles as parents, as schools and as a society.
But this nonsense of breaking it down to inflame the situation even further surely has to stop.— Bongani Bingwa, Breakfast Show Host
