Crying political conspiracy is common among leaders in trouble says analyst

They say a week is a very long time in politics. Just ask Malusi Gigaba who had a week littered with problems starting with the infamous leaked sex video..

He alleges that there is a big political plot against him and that those who are trying to plot against him will not succeed.

Gigaba is due to appear before this committee on Tuesday to answer some really tough questions.

But does he really have a political future?

Speaking to Xolani Gwala, Political Analyst Dr Somadoda Fikeni says Gigaba's fightback will not be successful but at the same time, it might be effective with his base.

In other words, his loyal supporters. But the issue of saying that there is a political conspiracy has become something very common among political leaders whenever they are in trouble.

But that never explains why they limp from one challenge to another if they believe that there is someone who is out to get them.
