Motorist who killed two goslings has been identified

According to the SPCA, he will be charged with contravention of the Animal Protection Act.

The Cape of Good Hope SPCA has managed to track down the motorist who ran over and killed two goslings while crossing the road with their mother.

Belinda Abraham spokesperson for The Cape of Good Hope SPCA says the motorist has been identified and a case has been opened with police.

She says charges have been brought against him in terms of the Animal Protection Act 71 of 1962 and they are currently awaiting an update from the investigating officer.
