Prof Lesiba Tefo says like many African leaders former Mayor Patricia de Lille didn't know when to step down.

I also don't think this is a new party, it's just an old one in a new bottle called ID. That's the only way they can succeed in being visible because there is dormant infrastructure across the provinces based on the party of yesteryear.

Prof Lesiba Tefo, political analyst

Political Analyst, professor Lesiba Tefo says that in the past three years, de Lille has 'undone her legacy' and still has not answered the allegations that she sent an SMS to influence the outcome of an interview.

That told me that you have overstayed madam and you are now harming the good that you have achieved.

Prof Lesiba Tefo, political analyst
