Some people should text and even sext, but they should never call.— Eusebius McKaiser, CapeTalk and 702 presenter

Listeners called in and sent tweets about phone call anxiety and their preferred means of communication.
@Eusebius Voice notes don't work for me. What if you send me naughty things and I listen to it "during the people"— Wandile (@wiseprince) November 23, 2018
Call me old school but I prefer the phone call however as my voice mail alludes to , the kind of work I do doesn’t always allow me to answer the calls all the time. I tend to return the call and not with a sms or whattsapp— barry-john wyman (@strawbazzer) November 23, 2018
@Eusebius I am actually agnostic between SMS, WhatsApp and calls.— CARE...THERE...CRY...GIVE (@BanNgidi) November 23, 2018
I goddamn hate them all.
Just make sure you are clear about what you want, and EXACTLY what information or action you want me to take.
I have text and WA anxiety. I’d rather they called.— Pumla Dineo Gqola, PhD (@feminist_rogue) November 23, 2018
Also, just because I've read your WhatsApp, it doesn't mean I HAVE TO respond NOW!!— Zuki Madondo (@zukimadondo) November 23, 2018
Mina Eusibius in tired of telling people that my preferred method of communication is text,be it WhatsApp , email or other forms. When people choose to be hard headed and try to call me I just let it ring....unless if it's a format call like from work— marcus (@marcus_marc1011) November 23, 2018
I prefer phone calls and I prefer meeting people over WhatsApp groups.— Barnie, caller
I totally disagree. I think phone calls are very important because you cannot really tell how a person is feeling via text... I don't allow people to leave voice messages on my phone.— Mmabatho, caller
I actually prefer both calls and text.— Nozukho, caller
Any voicenote that is longer than a minute is actually a podcast!— Sam, caller
