SANParks bumps up Wild Card prices for the holiday season

There are new tariffs in place for SANParks Wild Card programme membership for all parks.

According to SANParks spokesperson Reynold Thakhuli, the tariff hike is supposed to happen annually but at Table Mountain National Park it has not happened for a while and now it is time to bring it in line with other parks.

He says the price increase is effective from 1 November, 2018.

These membership fees help in terms of the upkeep of the park, dealing with poachers as well as the safety of the visitors.

It is definitely better for people to purchase wild cards because it works out better when visiting our parks.

Reynold Thakhuli, SANParks spokesperson

Price increases apply to all Wild Card Programme Conservation Partners, which includes SANParks, CapeNature, Msinsi and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife.
