Former GCIS boss Manyi 'disappointed' by witnesses at state capture inquiry
Former Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) head Mzwanele Manyi says he's yet to hear any credible evidence which implicates the Gupta family in state capture.
Manyi was testifying at the state capture inquiry on Monday about his tenure at the government communication agency, reports EWN's Clement Manyathela.
In particular, Manyi says he was disappointed in the testimony made by Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan because he believes it lacked hard proof.
Manyi also defended the government’s support of the then Gupta-owned The New Age (TNA) newspaper at the time.
He says that he's struggled to find any witness who provided evidence linking the Gupta family to that state capture project.Clement Manyathela, EWN reporter
