Ajay Gupta says he doesn't believe that the Estina dairy farm matter "will ever see the light of day again" after the case was provisionally withdrawn.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) officially withdrew the case when all of the accused appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.
Tiso Blackstar's Karyn Maughan reports that the Gupta family is now considering it's legal options after being implicated in fraud allegations linked to the Estina Dairy Farm project.
Maughan attended court proceeding and says there has been talks of a potential malicious prosecution suit against the State.
Ajay Gupta is adamant that there is no evidence linking his controversial family to the Estina scam, Maughan says.
Maughan also commented on the appointment of Advocate Shamila Batohi to head the NPA and the challenges that lie ahead of her.
