South Africans can expect more power cuts and a possible tariff hike, as Eskom battles to keep the lights on.

The power utility says it will implement rotational power cuts occasionally until March 2019.

Azania Mosaka sat down with Energy Expert, Chris Yelland to understand the state of South Africa's power grid,as well as the impact of the latest power cuts.

We going through a revolution in the electricity supply industry, not only in South Africa but globally and things are changing very fast. The troubles Eskom are facing is not in isolation of the rest of the world.
