Minister of Trade and Industry Rob Davis says if any disruption happens due to the Brexit deal, it will be very minimal.

The current uncertainty with the Brexit crisis is causing countries that have trade agreements with the EU to be in a bit of panic, with these countries wondering how the break up will affect the markets after March 2019.

Minister of Trade and Industry Rob Davis says the South African government has put an agreement in place with the EU to ensure that SA products will continue to have access to European markets.

Davis explains what will happen in a worst case scenario if the break up does happen or a situation where prime minister's Theresa May's plan fails.

What will happen to the global financial markets as a result, that is something that we can't anticipate or deal with directly.

Rob Davis, Minister of Trade and Industry

The big disruption that we are talking about is that if the EU started trading with us and everybody else...

Rob Davis, Minister of Trade and Industry

But we have been working with the same terms which we use now under the economic partnership agreement.
