[WATCH] Sandton hijackers foiled by quick-witted driver

A vehicle targetted by hijackers on Saturday night at 10.15pm outside a petrol station on Katherine Street in Sandton, Johannesburg made an impressive escape.

Watch how a silver BMW pulls up next to the victim's car. Men jump out waving guns, but the driver cleverly quickly reverses back down the road.

The hijackers run after the vehicle and three shots are fired, but the car escapes and the hijackers jump back into the waiting car and drive away.
