DA heads to Alexandra to start election campaign

The Democratic Alliance's (DA) Phumzile van Damme today began campaigning in the Alexandra township in Johannesburg.

The DA says the people of Alexandra are realizing that they have given the ANC enough time to prove itself.

The main concerns raised [by residents] were around documentation...that area has been affected by fires and some people lost their documentation during that time.
