'I lost half of my business in the Pringle Bay fire'

Cape businesswoman Sunra Mostert says half of her business has gone up in flames due to the fires in the Overstrand region.

Mostert is a beekeeper and the owner of Fynbos Enterprises in Pringle Bay.

Fynbos Enterprises manufactures pure, locally-scented, unadulterated honey and liqueurs, beeswax candles and body products.

The deadly fire that started on New Year's Eve destroyed all her beehives in Pringle Bay area, accounting for half her enclosures.

I lost all my Pringle Bay hives but so far the Betty's Bay hives are still safe.
