[GALLERY] Fresh blazes as Overstrand fires reignite

Firefighters in the Overstrand area have been battling several fires which reignited and spread on Friday.

Several structures have been gutted in the Betty's Bay area near Harold Porter Botanical Gardens.

It has since started raining and residents hope the rainfall will help douse the flames.

Fires have been burning in Franskraal, Karwyderskraal, Betty’s Bay, Gansbaai and Hermanus.

CapeTalk listeners sent the following images and videos of the fire.
