Proud dad to 6-year-old DJ Arch Junior says it's all about supporting your kids
Six-year-old DJ Arch Junior warmed the heart of super-critical music producer and judge, Simon Cowell on America's Got Talent.
DJ Arch Junior made his debut as a three-year-old, winning South Africa's Got Talent back in 2015 as well as being the Guinness Book of Records' as the youngest DJ.
His father Glen Hlongwane speaks to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies about the milestones his son has achieved as a six-year-old.

It's all about supporting your kids when you see talent and groom it, there is no two way about it.

He started when he was very young, at 8 months when we got him an iPad, he started using the DJ ap. People started saying that your child seems to be really into this.

So we supported him and helped hium where we could and we today we have a superstar.

Hlongwane says being on America's Got Talent and seeing how the judges loved DJ Arch Junior, real name Oratilwe AJ Hlongwane was amazing, particularly comments made by Simon Cowell.
But the proud dad says his schoolwork still comes first and he only gets on the decks at home over weekends.
He says he is looking forward to bigger things to come.
