Overberg Fire and DAFF to resolve 'dead wood' issue after devastating wildfires

Kieno gives feedback on a story the breakfast Show covered over the past weeks in the wake of the devastating Overberg wildfires.

He says the Overberg fire chief argued that dried branches left lying on the ground after being cut down by the Department of Forests and Fisheries (DAFF) exacerbated the fires. DAFF denies this is was a factor but, after discussing it with Kieno has agreed to meet with the Overberg fire chief and find resolution on the matter.
