[LISTEN] Read Aloud Day: How Nal'ibali is promoting literacy

Nal'ibali celebrated World Read Aloud Day on Friday with an initiative to show children the value of reading.

Literary mentor at the organisation, Portia Daniso speaks to Joanne Joseph about the work they are doing to promote literacy.

Daniso says they are in the process of establishing different reading clubs in communities for children to experience storytelling.

Children can go to those spaces and have the experience of being read to so that they enjoy books and storytelling without feeling that they can't do it.
