EFF serving 'WMC' wine at gala dinner raises eyebrows

The EFF hosted a gala dinner in Pretoria on Friday night ahead of its manifesto launch this past weekend. But to the amusement of some journalists in attendance, the wine served on the tables was none other that Rupert&Rothschild.

Julius Malema even Johann Rupert in his address that evening, saying he believes EFF is the only party not owned by 'white monopoly capital' (WMC).

Some Twitter users called it hypocrisy

Political journalist, Qaanitah Hunter pointed out the ANC had served the same wine at various conferences.
