Fire-ravaged Wupperthal gets much-needed helping hand to rebuild

The historic town of Wupperthal, near Clanwilliam, was ravaged by in December 2018, leaving an estimated 200 people homeless, destroying the town hall and school.

Now, a helping hand has been extended to the fire-ravaged community of Wupperthal to help rebuild it.

The academic from the University of Birmingham City in the UK are in Wupperthal, having been asked by the Moravian Church to come and assist.

Fruitful Futures director, Matt Stokes is part of a team that will help restore Wupperthal.

We are working with the Moravian Church to import and support the educational system, improve the health care system, tourism and agricultural upliftment.
