Woman wins battle with SA Home Loans and keeps her house

A battle between SA Home Loans and its client Anita Sisam has finally been put to bed.

The disagreement started when SA Home Loans refused to pay out her claim after she was placed on disability by her employer following a diagnosis of the illness Lupus.

This happened a year after she took out disability and death cover with SA Home Loans.

SA Home Loans wanted to repossess her house because she couldn't honour payments, claiming that she was aware of her Lupus diagnosis prior to taking out the cover.

After a forensic investigator, Dr David Klatzow stepped in, it was established that Sisam does not have Lupus.

I had an uphill battle with 1life Direct as well as SA Home Loans and I was nearly on the streets but I thank God that I went to Dr Klatzow. We settled at the end of December and now I am in my house.
