Bidvest releases good results. Increases dividends by 10.6%

Bidvest on Monday reported a 10% rise to R2.1 billion in headline earnings for the six months to the end of December 2018.

Trading profits are up 6.3% to R3.3 billion.

Headline earnings per share increased by 9.6% to 629.1 cents.

Bidvest declared an interim dividend of 282 cents per share (up 10.6%).

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Lindsay Ralphs, CEO at Bidvest.

Ralphs discussed Bidvest's results and his replacement, Mpumi Madisa, who will become the youngest CEO of a Top-40 company.
