The CEO of the Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital in Krugersdorp, Dr Patrick Sofohlo says strike action on Tuesday led to management having to cook for patients.
Admin staff and nurses went on strike on Friday demanding a canteen, additioanl office space and the removal of hospital management.
Speaking to Bongani Bingwa, Sefohlo notes patients have been attended to by management and skeleton staff.

The management of the hospital opened the pharmacy early on Tuesday morning and medication was taken out of the pharmacy and dispensed to all the wards so that admitted patients can get the necessary medication.— Dr Patrick Sofohlo, CEO - Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital
