Rising Star Awards targets young professionals under 40
The Rising Star Awards is a programme which aims to recognise the talents and progress of young South African doing amazing things in various business sectors.
Founder, Laura Barker chats to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies about the awards.
The Rising Star Programme, operated by BlackBark Productions, has been established for the purposes of recognising, celebrating and connecting young talented people who have a capacity for achievement and success and who contribute in an inspirational manner to the future of our nation.
The awards aim to recognise and connect South Africa's most talented young professionals in the workplace who are under 40.

The leadership criteria used has been developed by the Stellenbosch Business School.
She says 50 high-level corporate professionals are brought in to conduct interviews with the top 60.
