WATCH: We chill with Guns N' Roses drummer Frank Ferrer ahead of a Cape Town gig

Frank Ferrer, the drummer for iconic rock band Guns N' Roses, is in the Mother City for a special guest appearance at a tribute show this weekend.

Ferrer is joining Jason Oosthuizen's tribute show, Guns N' Roses & Friends, at the Hillcrest Quarry in Durbanville on Friday 15 March.

Ferrer has played, toured, and recorded with Guns N' Roses since 2006.

He's recorded and worked with numerous well-known bands and musicians throughout his career.

CapeTalk host John Maytham was fortunate enough to hang out with Ferrer in studio to talk all things music, collaboration and his love for Cape Town.

My favourite thing to do is play with other musicians from all over the world because I think we all have a common language.
