Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma's latest tweet, 'When in Rome...'

Some social media users think he's 'the coolest pres ever' living his best life, while many are astounded by his brazenness.

Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma, our bulletproof former president, took to social media yesterday with his latest tweet - a photo of himself in one of his trademark print shirts, standing halfway up an impressive stairway in front of the ornate decorative white railing - and wait for it, smoking a Cohiba cigar! They go for about R500 a pop.

He certainly looks like he does not have a care in the world.

The Cohiba cigar logo is superimposed behind him, and above the photo, he has written 'When in Rome...'

This is in a week where the former head of the NPA Bulelani Ngcuka, admitted for the first time in an affidavit to the court that Zuma should have been prosecuted along with Shabit Sheik 16 years ago.

Zuma's bid to have his charges thrown out is set for May.

Read: Is Jacob Zuma's Sunday tweet a veiled threat to anyone spilling the beans?

On Sunday he refuted claims implicating him in a report released by the Presidency from a panel looking into 'political malpurposing and factionalisation' and 'serious breaches of the Constitution, policy law, regulations and directives' in the State Security Agency.

He took to Twitter saying 'I hope people are not opening a can of worms which they might regret', with some argue is a veiled threat.
