Former deputy minister of finance Mcebisi Jonas returned to the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture to be cross-examined by Duduzane Zuma's legal representatives on Friday.
Associate editor at Tiso Blackstar, Ranjeni Munusamy who is following the commission, says Jonas spent the first part of the morning explaining the hostility he faced when he was finance deputy minister.

He maintains the course of events about meeting Mr Zuma and then travelling with him to the Gupta house. He says he didn't know where he was taken to.
