[LISTEN] Award-winning entrepreneur Zibusiso Mkhwanazi on achieving success

Zibusiso Mkhwanazi is the founder and group CEO of M&N Brands, a holding company with diversified investments. These include companies such as AVATAR, Mela Events, Bozza and AMA, a full-service media agency.

Also part of its stable is M&N Entertainment, a content hub that has already made its first acquisition through the purchase of Zkhiphani.com.

The holding company is also involved in Esihlahleni Women’s Empowerment, a non-profit company dedicated to empowering women from disadvantaged areas.

Mkhwanazi sat down with Azania for this week's #FridayProfile to share more about his work and achievements.

He says his business ventures started when he was only 17 years old.

I always had a passion for computers so the business originally started as a computer repairs business, then I thought, no there has got to be something different - got into website development and later that business grew phenomenally where in 2006 we merged with another business called Crazy Boys and became one of the biggest web development businesses in the country.

In 2012 I left that because my vision changed. That is why I established Avatar, an integrated agency, cross channel where you can communicate effectively with the consumer.
