For the first time in the ongoing political killings, the alleged mastermind has been arrested reports EWN reporter Ziyanda Ngcobo

Harry Gwala Executive Mayor Mluleki Ndobe has been arrested in connection with the murder of Sindiso Magaqa.

The African National Congress (ANC) in Kwa-Zulu Natal former deputy secretary will appear at the Umzimkhulu Magistrates Court on Monday.

EWN reporter Ziyanda Ngcobo following the Magaqa's murder case says this development is significant.

For the first time after a very long time, in all the political killings we see the so-called mastermind behind these killings.

It was always the hitman arrested, but now we see what the family has been saying, that the big fish is put behind bars.

However, there is still a lot of concern about what will happen going forward where witnesses are concerned. We know that there are some witnesses who have not been protected.
