Capetonians water consumption down by about 536 million litres of water a day

Dam levels are currently at around 52%. Levels only dropped by 0.1%.

Because of the rain we received about a week ago, we seeing dam levels remaining quite stable and a slow decline.

Consumption has also declined by about 536 million litres of water a day which is well within the City's 650 million litres a day usage target.

It indicates Capetonians have remained conservative in their approach to water.
