Is ANC on trial, or just individuals implicated in state capture, ask callers?

The African National Congress (ANC) has applied to cross examine Former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi.

Agrizzi returned to the Zondo Commission of Inquiry on Thursday to give more testimony on corrupt activities at Bosasa with high ranking politicians and government officials.

Some of the politicians implicated in Agrizzi's testimony include Ministers Nomvula Mokonyane, who has less than two weeks to apply to cross-examine the former Bosasa COO.

On Thursday, Agrizzi claimed that Bosasa donated R10-million to R12-million to the ANC's Top Six.

Listeners have questioned whether the ruling party should be the one to cross-examine Agrizzi when it is, in fact, individuals within the party who have been implicated.

I don't know if I am the only one who happens to be confused. As far as I recall the spokesperson said it is not the ANC that is on trial at the Zondo Commission, it is individuals from the ANC.

Nicholas Bauer, standing in for Eusebius McKaiser says the party should not be divorced from those implicated.

They are trying to spin themselves out of it but I think it is impossible.

There are extremely good people that are within the ANC,not without their own smallanyana skeletons but to suggest that it is just a couple of bad eggs, I think it is past that.

Caller Katlego says action must be taken against these high profile politicians.

We want to see people arrested.
