State Capture Inquiry

80% of what Le Roux said on Mantashe's security upgrades panned out, says Mlambo

The Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture resumed on Tuesday with investigator Patrick Mlambo testifying.

Mlambo is giving testimony about his visits to ministers' houses which former Bosasa employee Richard le Roux said received security upgrades as bribes.

EWN reporter Bonga Dlulane, who is following the inquiry, speaks to Ray White on the Xolani Gwala Show.

The investigator went to two provinces, the Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal, where he visited three properties including Gwede Mantashe's and said he found everything that Richard Le Roux testified he would see.

Mlambo testified that 80% of what Le Roux had told the commission about Bosasa installing security at these houses, panned out at Mantashe's home.

However, when the investigator went to Dudu Myeni's house, he says she went ballistic and told him he could not enter her home as he is invading her privacy. And she denied him entry.
