It's been two days since Minister of Police Bheki Cele ordered Western Cape officials to close down all illegal shebeens within 48 hours.
The minister was addressing an Imbizo in George where he slammed shebeens as major enablers of crime and called for stricter laws that will clamp down on under-age drinking.
John Maythan spoke to the Western Cape Liquor Authority's Philip Prinsloo about the progress so far.
