Cope spokesperson Dennis Bloem outlines plans to ensure that it receives votes in the upcoming national elections.

Congress of the People (Cope) spokesperson, Dennis Bloem, denies allegations that 200 members have defected to the ANC ahead of the 2019 national elections.

Bloem dismissed the allegations as propaganda, blaming bitter former executive members for tarnishing the party's name in the media.

It's a blue lie before the elections. We are growing stronger by the day as the Congress of the People, especially in Limpopo.

Bloem outlined Cope's plans to ensure that its votes grow in the upcoming national elections.

We are fighters against corruption. We are corruption free. There is no finger that can be pointed at us as Cope, from our leader Mosiuoa Lekota down to the last member.
