Where is Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba amidst the Alexandra protest?

Residents of Alexandra took to the streets last week over service delivery in the area.

The #AlexShutDown spiralled over into this week with residents demanding to meet mayor Mashaba.

Ray White spoke to Gauteng member of the provincial legislature (MPL) Khumo Ramolifho about why the mayor has not addressed the residents.

Herman had other obligations that is why he could not go there.
